SAI practice

I'm sorry if this burns your eyes, I'm trying to use more colour in my drawings.

Two random characters that keep popping up in my head. She's a mermaid and he's a squirrel monkey (their dutch name, doodshoofdaapje, is way cooler. It means skull-monkey

)

Sai is really really weird... The blending options are okay, and I really love the contrast filter. It's a real lifesaver.
But, I'm too used to my 'opaque-ish' photoshop brushes.
